Whew, it’s been a long time. 36 years ago, returning from a Vietnam Deployment, I remember the gas lines and what a shock it was. If your tag had an odd number of the first number of a series, then you bought gas on a certain day.
Every thing inflated in price, Carter came in and “depressed” the economy further with the "windfall profits tax". Felt good, but crippled production and distribution. Once again, instead of a thankfulness for another American's success, we criticized. Socialists brought out the "whine factor" in many of us. Class warfare took it's toll from a great and less free people.
Prices were "set" and the economy went into a tail spin.
Fetl good, but.....

If you are confused at first, don't fret.. it's the fog caused by drinking the Kool Aid of socialism for so long.. "We will take care of you...."
1.) Anyone want to suggest not taxing success? Take of the brakes off of investments, savings, ingenuity and new technology development that depends on those investments, savings and ingenuity. Possibly suggest doing this instead of subsidies through higher taxation of success?
2.)Anyone want to suggest retool to Hydrogen fueled internal combustion engines for our transportation industry and get us off of foreign oil as quickly as possible and actually clean our air instead of polluting it?
3.)Anyone want to suggest enforcing, in full, our Nationalization Act forcing self deportation, and securing our Southern Borders? Immigration Page..
