Now lets see what Glenn Beck has to say about taxes.

Glenn Beck says a lower corporate income tax will help bring businesses to the United States.

Mr. Beck’s News Letter excerpt..

“It's something -- and probably the only thing -- that former GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney and Rep. Charlie Rangel, D-New York, actually agree on. But what makes it so important is the rest of the world agrees
on it, too. In a global economy, companies can locate themselves wherever they want.

They will set up shop wherever it's easiest to do business.

That's also where they will pay most of their taxes and hire thousands of workers.

If you have to make the decision on where to do business, would you choose the country that, according to the Tax Foundation, features the highest corporate state and federal tax in the developed world? I doubt it.

The World Bank and PricewaterhouseCoopers just finished their report studying the burden that businesses face by various tax systems. In what it calls the "ease" of paying taxes, we ranked 76th out of 178 countries overall. That's not good.

Unless, of course, you happen to think "good" is being significantly behind the Sudan and Rwanda. We're also three slots behind Palau, which is apparently a country. Who knew? In fact, we're close to 40 slots behind the two countries we're in the middle of trying to free: Iraq and Afghanistan.

Our total tax rate, which includes all taxes paid by a company -- federal, state, property taxes, etc. -- is a literally insane 46.2 percent, ranking us behind 101 countries overall. How do we possibly expect to compete on the global scale when Borat's home country is 44 slots ahead of us?”

The Contrarian Libertarian:
Hurrah for Mr. Beck, he almost gets it; unlike Bill O’Reilly Fox News, Rush Limbaugh, Michael Savage, the rest of the National Medias and the majority of you Dear Readers. The best you people can come up with is the possibility of cutting corporate taxes.

Mr. Beck makes a great point. The “playing field” presented to American based businesses is very poor, because we've succumbed to the sirens song, "We will take care of you by taxing the  rich.

As I’ve written before, the global economy has changed the way we must tax. We can no longer afford to be anti-capitalism and live in denial of the benefits to everyone that a free market system brings.

If you want a "Moral Imperative" you can make that one of them.

Even our medical breakthroughs come from the same spirit of competition that forms “private enterprise”. .. Please Review

National Security?

We are dependent on Foreign Oil but  we do not nurture the capitalism needed to release ourselves from it.

Instead we “bleed it dry” so that our major multi national corporations are “outsourcing” to save expenses associated with hiring Americans. This goes far beyond wages.

It’s also the taxes levied on all goods and services produced in America. Why else do we see only foreign goods in the majority of our stores?

This is directly associated with taxes levied on every thing produced, all corporate investment and capital gains and income. This is crippling the entrepreneur with these same taxes. I know this because of many years spent as a small business owner.

Mr. Beck did not go into much detail and maybe he and the other hosts might need an email about their further study or how a consumption tax coupled with a government rebate associated with family size, not income, effectively offsets this tax of the poor, the working poor and the middle class. Only the very rich pay the top 23% tax with none of the 64,000 pages of tax exemptions.

Write Glen  and let him know, quite simply, that you want ALL of your paycheck, thank you. Instead let him know that the federal government can collect taxes from the new products and services retail counter  where they already collect state taxes.

Not to worry dear reader, you have men like Alexander Hamilton to back you up..

Go to the "Immigration" page to verify quote. You can copy past the important parts of Hamilton's Federalist Paper #21...

You may not have voted for these men for President in the caucases, that's not to say  they are devoid of making good decisions.

Listen to what these men say...
